A place for them →
In short. Yes, I just got upset about Instagram again one night. And started looking for another place to warehouse my photos. After considering more and less complicated options, here it is.
Why Echo? To me, photography is about trying to capture a moment of how you see and feel a place, or what do you want to feel or see in it. This makes a photograph an echo of what actually was happening at the moment in that place. And also because it is easy to remember. Only 4 letters.

Structure
I like to make things structured. Sometimes in a weird way so I am forgetting what was the structure of the thing, and restructure it another time thinking that now this is so intuitively understandable so there is no need to note down principles and logic. Usually, that means, the note would be a good idea.
Echo is structured intuitively understandable. There are 2 main spaces: Notes and of course, Galleries.
Notes
Right now you read one of them. Basically, it is a post. Post can be long or short and it contains all “keepers” that were made during a walk, travel or whatever was decided a reason to take a camera (-s ?) with.
As of today, I am fortunate to have 2 cameras. First camera is an analog Canon 500n in gorgeous black color. For some reason these are mostly in silver on eBay. And I think you know, how silver ~30 years old plastic look like. Meh. The second one is Fujifilm X-S10. In gorgeous black color as well. Because there is no other option. That thing has more settings than Boeing and film recipes are as cool as Airbus’s autopilots.
Anyway, I will separate parts with film photos from digital. Ideally, separate Notes. But who knows.
A good candidate for the first (after this) note would be First film camera. Because it is the first note here.

Galleries
Galleries are curated pages meaning that I add new photos to them from time to time to keep organized. Somehow, it is hard to decide where to put or is it worth to put a particular photo to the gallery or not. That’s why having all “keepers” in Notes should give a freedom to pick better ones (subjectively) from them and place in galleries. And less words.
For visitors, Galleries can be a way to quickly understand if it is even worth for them to look into the Notes. But it is already means a world for me if you are here reading something in my own(-ish) corner of the Internet and not on social media platform of any kind. Thank you.
